Istanbul’s tourist numbers on the rise in first 2 months of 2013. First 2 months’ number of tourists increased by 21.6%. Number of foreign tourists reached 1,149,741 from 945,786. February increase is 24.9%.

Total number is expected to pass 10,000,000 tourists in 2013.

Istanbul has become Europe’s third most visited city and 5th city of the world.

Top nationalities to visit:

1- Germany : 9.2%

2- Russia : 7.2%

3- England : 4.3%

4- France : 3.9%

5- USA : 3.8%

Arab tourist number increased by 50.6%.
