Istanbul international visitor figures hit another record in January, 2014 with an increase of 19.4%. Considering 17.8% increase in January, 2013, Istanbul’s tourist attraction is going well above the world average (19.4% in 2012, 28% in 2011).

Istanbul hosted 10,474,867 foreign tourists in 2013, holding the 6th rank city in the world.

Germans kept the number place of visiting Istanbul.
