According to Global Metro Monitor 2014 report which is prepared by American research establishments, Brookings Institute and JP Morgan Chase, Istanbul is selected as the third fastest growing city in the world.

Fastest Developing Metropolitan

Fastest growing 300 metropolitan of the world has been announced by said report. With Macau, an autonomous management region connected to China, on top of the list, Izmir took second place.

List of 300 being filled by cities from China and Turkey, Istanbul came 3rd, Bursa 4th and Ankara 9th rising economy in the world. Dubai took 5th place in research while Kumning from China took 6th, Hangzhou 7th and Xiamen 8th.

London Came 26th

In the list which picked Budapest as 12th best performance in Europe, European and American cities were far behind. Capital of England: London took 26th place while Rome took 274th, Washington 275th, Milano 277th and Atina 280th.

In the report: Turkey, the bridge between Europe and Asia, while doing investments towards heavy industry in short time also came forward on infrastructure projects, highways and providing work force.
